APB (Association Pharmaceutique Belge -- Algemene Pharmaceutische Bond) is the Belgian pharmacists federation, uniting some 30 local unions of independent public pharmacy owners. It represents and defends them, a.o. with the national (federal) and regional authorities and in the Belgian health insurance institute (INAMI). The Medicines Control Laboratory (SCM/DGO) of APB is an officially recognized laboratory, which independently controls the quality of all medicines, dispensed in Belgian pharmacies. The Center for Scientific Development for Pharmacists (CWOA/SDSP) provides all the necessary tools and services for the scientific development and support of the APB members. |
